These Terms of Service apply when you access The Village Hub website or purchase, download, print, or use one of our products. By using this website or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

3. Products and Descriptions

The Village Hub provides digital educational resources intended primarily for parents, caregivers, early childhood educators, childcare programs, and other professionals who support children and families.

We make reasonable efforts to describe each product accurately, including its contents, file type, intended audience, and suggested use. Colours and formatting may appear differently depending on your screen, printer, paper, ink, software, and device.

We may correct errors, update product information, or improve a resource when necessary.

4. Prices, Payments and Orders

Unless otherwise stated, prices are displayed in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes are calculated during checkout.

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may cancel or refund an order when there is a pricing or product-listing error, suspected fraud, unauthorized payment, technical problem, or other legitimate reason.

If we cancel a paid order, the amount paid for the cancelled product will be refunded.

5. Digital Delivery

Digital products are delivered electronically to the email address entered during checkout or through a download page provided after payment.

No physical item will be mailed unless a product listing specifically states that it is a physical product.

You are responsible for:

  • Entering a correct and accessible email address.

  • Downloading and saving your files.

  • Using compatible software and devices.

  • Keeping reasonable backup copies for your licensed use.

6. Product License

Unless a product description provides different license terms, each purchase gives the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the resource within one household, classroom, or childcare-program location.

You may:

  • Download and save the resource for your own licensed use.

  • Print reasonable copies for children, families, staff, or participants directly connected to the licensed household, classroom, or childcare location.

  • Adapt how you use the ideas or activities to meet the needs of the children in your care.

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or give away the digital files.

  • Share the files with another business, childcare location, school, organization, or unlicensed individual.

  • Upload the files to a public website, social-media group, shared resource library, public drive, marketplace, or artificial-intelligence system.

  • Remove copyright notices, watermarks, credits, or branding.

  • Copy or modify a resource for resale or commercial redistribution.

  • Claim the resource or its written content as your own creation.

  • Use product images or substantial portions of a resource to advertise or sell another product.

Additional copies or locations may require an additional purchase or written licensing permission.

7. Educational Use and Professional Judgment

The resources and information provided by The Village Hub are for general educational and informational purposes.

They do not replace individualized medical, psychological, developmental, behavioural, legal, safety, or other professional advice. No resource can account for every child, family, culture, environment, diagnosis, policy, or circumstance.

Parents, educators, caregivers, and professionals are responsible for:

  • Providing appropriate adult supervision.

  • Considering each child’s age, development, abilities, needs, culture, and circumstances.

  • Reviewing materials before providing them to children or families.

  • Following applicable laws, licensing requirements, workplace policies, safety procedures, and professional standards.

  • Seeking qualified professional assistance when needed.

The Village Hub does not guarantee a particular educational, developmental, behavioural, workplace, or family outcome.

8. Content Development and Artificial Intelligence

The Village Hub’s resources are informed by professional experience in early childhood education, personal and everyday experiences, observations, independent research, ongoing learning, and publicly available information.

Artificial-intelligence tools may be used to assist with spelling, grammar, organization, clarity, formatting, idea development, and identifying information that should be researched or fact-checked. AI does not replace the creator’s knowledge, professional judgment, lived experience, or responsibility for the final content.

Content is reviewed and revised before publication. However, errors or outdated information may occasionally remain.

9. Refunds

All purchases are subject to our Return and Refund Policy. Because downloadable products cannot be physically returned, purchases are generally final after delivery, except where a problem qualifies under our policy or applicable law requires another remedy.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the resources, text, graphics, product images, designs, branding, downloads, and other original materials available through The Village Hub are owned by or licensed to The Village Hub and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing a product gives you permission to use it under the applicable product license. It does not transfer ownership of the copyright or other intellectual-property rights.

11. Third-Party Information and Links

The website may refer or link to government agencies, public-health resources, educational frameworks, research, or third-party organizations. These references are provided for information and convenience.

Unless expressly stated, outside organizations do not sponsor, endorse, approve, or have an affiliation with The Village Hub. We are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites.

12. Website Availability

We do not guarantee that the website, checkout, customer account, or download system will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, updates, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to help customers obtain products they have paid for.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Village Hub is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use a website resource.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits a consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
